Caustic soda in Water & wastewater treatment
In this industry, caustic soda flakes are a key process material; consistent purity and low impurities directly determine the quality of the finished product and the waste on the line.
Caustic soda raises and stabilises pH, precipitates dissolved heavy metals as hydroxides, and regenerates ion-exchange resins in demineralisation units.

The right grade for your line
Our caustic soda flakes at 98–99% purity serve both sensitive applications and general, high-volume use; the certificate of analysis for each batch ships with the consignment.
03FAQ FAQ
Answers to industrial buyers’ questions
Didn't find the answer to your question? Our technical specialist is available during working hours.
Which caustic soda grade suits our process?
Our caustic soda flakes are produced at 98–99% purity in compliance with Iranian national standard ISIRI 364, and their carbonate, chloride and iron levels are below the standard's requirements. Send us your process specification and our technical specialist will assess how well the product matches your needs.
How do I prepare lye safely?
Add the flakes slowly to water with continuous stirring; never pour water onto the flakes. Use a stainless steel or HDPE tank, a cooling system, and personal protective equipment (goggles, gloves and an alkali-resistant apron).
Flakes or 50% liquid caustic?
Liquid caustic removes the dissolving step, but you pay to ship water and need a heated tank. For long distances, variable consumption and long-term storage, caustic soda flakes are usually more economical and more flexible.
How should bags be stored?
Store in a covered, dry warehouse on pallets and away from acids, and reseal an opened bag immediately. Caustic soda flakes absorb moisture and CO₂ from the air and their carbonate content gradually rises; follow the first-in, first-out principle.
Do you send trial samples?
Yes. For industrial buyers we send a 1–5 kg sample together with the COA for that batch, and our technical specialist will help you interpret the test results.
